ACTIVITY SAFETY
Community Activity Proposal Rules
Version: 24 August 2026
A suggestion, not independent hosting
A proposer is a Kinly member suggesting a social plan. The proposer does not select the final venue, organise participants, act as security or become Kinly’s employee, agent, representative or professional organiser. Kinly decides whether the suggestion proceeds, selects the public venue and may change or cancel the plan. Approval does not certify any participant, venue or activity as risk-free.
Permitted suggestions
During the initial community programme, members may suggest only coffee, cinema or dinner activities for three to six email-confirmed adults aged 30 or over who have supplied a clear private profile photograph. The purpose must be genuine, non-commercial friendship.
Kinly selects the venue
The proposer supplies only a preferred general area. Kinly selects a legitimate café, restaurant, cinema or comparable public business that is open, staffed and suitable at the scheduled time. The exact address is shared only with the confirmed circle. Homes, hotel rooms, private accommodation, vehicles, isolated locations and any move to a private place are prohibited.
Prohibited activities and content
Do not create activities involving children; dating or sexual services; gambling or betting; drugs, weapons or illegal goods; private transport; overnight stays; dangerous challenges; medical, therapeutic, legal, investment or financial advice; political recruitment; employment offers; sales, advertising, fundraising, commissions or referral schemes; discrimination, harassment, hate or deception; or anything unlawful, unsafe or inconsistent with friendship.
No direct payments or data collection
Proposers must never request cash, transfers, cryptocurrency, deposits, tickets, gifts or reimbursements from participants, and must not collect phone numbers, addresses, identity documents, workplace details or social-media accounts. Participants pay an established venue directly for their own purchases unless Kinly clearly presents an official payment flow.
Accuracy, budget and cooperation
Suggestions must accurately describe the preferred activity, date, time, general area, capacity and estimated spending range per person. The budget is only a preference, not a fixed price or promise; each participant controls and pays for their own order at the venue. Proposers must not claim to have booked a venue, promise acceptance, contact participants independently or misrepresent their role. They must cooperate with reasonable safety enquiries and promptly tell Kinly if they can no longer attend.
Boundaries and participant safety
Every member must respect another participant’s right to decline, leave or withhold personal details. Do not pressure anyone to drink, spend money, change venue, share transport, exchange contacts or continue socialising. For immediate danger, leave and contact Cyprus emergency services.
Kinly control and enforcement
Every suggestion requires Kinly approval and a Kinly-selected venue. Kinly may edit, reject, pause, cancel or remove any activity; preserve relevant records; or restrict an account for safety, quality, availability, suspected misuse, complaints or legal compliance. Approval may be withdrawn at any time.
Reports and appeals
Members may report an activity, proposer, participant or message through Kinly support. Kinly may take interim action while reviewing a report. Affected members may request review of a moderation decision.
Your acceptance
Submitting a suggestion confirms that you have read and accepted these Proposal Rules, the Terms of Use, Community Guidelines and Privacy Notice. The accepted version is recorded with the proposal.
