Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 30, provide your genuine age and accurate account information, and use Kinly only for lawful, genuine friendship purposes. You are responsible for activity performed through your verified email session.

Nature of the service

Kinly lets adults reserve a place at a themed friendship outing or suggest a community activity for Kinly review. Kinly—not the proposer or group—selects the final public, staffed venue. When enough participants register, Kinly may reveal that venue and open a private group chat. A reservation does not guarantee approval, compatibility, attendance, friendship, a particular venue or date. Kinly is not a dating, therapy, counselling or emergency service.

Private table chat

Kinly may open a private text chat for confirmed participants to arrange their meeting. The room opens no earlier than seven days before the event, becomes read-only 24 hours after the scheduled meeting and is subject to the retention period in the Privacy Notice. You must not add unlawful, abusive, sexual, discriminatory, deceptive or privacy-invasive content; solicit money; impersonate another person; or use the chat for commercial promotion. Do not share another person’s messages outside the circle.

Moderation and reports

Kinly does not promise continuous monitoring. Reported messages may be reviewed and access may be restricted, content preserved, or an account suspended where reasonably necessary for safety, service integrity or legal compliance. Deliberately false or abusive reports are prohibited.

Respect and safety

You must not harass, stalk, discriminate, impersonate, threaten, pressure or exploit another person. Meet only at the public, staffed venue confirmed by Kinly, arrange your own transport, never send money to another participant and use your own judgement. Contact emergency services where anyone is in immediate danger.

Reservations and budget estimates

Each account may reserve only one seat at the same table. Kinly may contact you to confirm availability before arranging the outing. A displayed per-person budget is only the proposer’s estimated spending preference and is not a fixed price, quotation or guarantee. Each participant chooses and pays for their own order directly at the venue. Payment, cancellation and refund terms will be displayed before any paid Kinly reservation is activated.

Membership and recurring billing

Creating an account and browsing Kinly are free. Unless a free promotional period is active, an active Kinly membership is required when you press Join. Stripe Checkout shows the exact price, billing interval and any applicable taxes before you subscribe. Paid memberships renew monthly until cancelled. You may cancel and manage your payment method through the Stripe customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period unless the checkout terms state otherwise. Kinly may offer a standard price, a half-price promotion or a time-limited free period. A later promotion does not automatically change an existing subscription’s agreed recurring price. Venue food, drinks, tickets and transport are separate and are paid directly by each participant.

Community activity suggestions

Member suggestions require Kinly approval and are governed by the Proposal Rules. A proposer supplies an idea and preferences but does not independently organise the event, choose its final venue, represent Kinly or control other participants. Kinly chooses whether the suggestion proceeds and selects the venue. Review and venue selection are safety measures, not an endorsement, background check or guarantee that a person, activity or venue is risk-free.

Proposer responsibilities

Proposers must provide accurate information, keep the suggestion lawful and non-commercial, avoid collecting participant data and promptly report changes. They cannot book or change the venue for Kinly, contact participants independently, or request payments, deposits, gifts, transfers or reimbursements. Homes, hotel rooms, private accommodation, vehicles, isolated locations and undisclosed venue changes are prohibited for everyone.

Prohibited activities

Kinly does not permit activities involving minors; dating or sexual services; gambling; drugs; weapons; private transport; overnight stays; dangerous challenges; medical, therapeutic, legal, employment, investment or financial services; sales, advertising, fundraising or referral schemes; harassment, hate, discrimination, deception or illegal conduct. This list is not exhaustive. Kinly may reject anything inconsistent with genuine, safe, non-commercial friendship.

Accurate age and identity

Members must provide their genuine age, confirm their email and upload a clear, recent private profile photograph before suggesting or joining community activities. These steps do not prove identity or character. Kinly may request an identity-document and selfie check through Stripe Identity where additional verification is reasonably required. Kinly may cancel a reservation or restrict an account where information appears false.

Suspension

Kinly may refuse or cancel a reservation, close chat access or suspend participation where reasonably necessary for safety, integrity, legal compliance or misuse prevention.

Personal responsibility and ordinary risks

Participation is voluntary. Members decide whether to attend, what to order, whether to consume alcohol, how to travel and whether to share personal details. Members are responsible for allergies, dietary decisions, belongings, transport and personal boundaries. Every member may leave at any time. Identity verification confirms certain submitted information but is not a criminal-record check, character assessment or guarantee of future behaviour.

Liability

Kinly provides digital tools for introductions, reservations, moderation and communication. Kinly does not control independent members, guarantee attendance, compatibility, venue service, food, transport, conduct or outcomes, and is not responsible for agreements or payments made outside an official Kinly payment flow. To the fullest extent permitted by law, members remain responsible for their own conduct and direct interactions. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Cyprus or EU law.

Illegal content notices and appeals

To report an activity, message or other content believed to be illegal or prohibited, contact Kinly support with the relevant activity or room, an explanation and any supporting information. Kinly may restrict access while assessing a report and will communicate a reasoned outcome where appropriate. Affected members may request review of a moderation decision through the same contact.
